How do you make a great tire even better? It has to actually be available, for starters. In 2016 e*thirteen released their first tire. Those who tried it, including Vital, were by and large impressed. We were very pleased with cornering traction, noting that the tires held quite a bit longer than most when it came to laying it over and pushing hard. Gloss finish can show scratches but worth the look and certainly the performance.

When looking to improve the performance of your bike, there appears to be nearly an endless list of ways to do it. Amongst this list, there are certainly endless options to choose from. With a market booming with aftermarket products and customization, it’s easy to get caught up on “bling” and lose track of what’s will give you the biggest bang for your buck. 2018 Kona Process 153 CR/DL 27.5

The Good

Very strong and stiff frame, Smooth and silent ride. very playful

Heavy considering is carbon, but is very strong build.

The original Process 153 was highly regarded at the time of its release. The bike's progressive geometry, lively suspension, and unflappable reliability quickly built a following and also seemed to influence how other brands approached the geometry and sizing of their own products. The original Process 153 seemed to stand the test of time against carbon constructed, feature-laden super bikes, but nothing is perfect and many Process fans were speculating what changes could make such a good bike

The Good

Great on trail performance / Easy tubeless setup / Harder compounds available in beefier casing (looking at you Maxxis and Schwalbe)

The Bad

Sub-par puncture resistance on "light" casing / Light casing heavier than competitors

Overall Review

This tire stands up with the best on trail and is one of the easiest tires to set up tubeless I have worked with. However, DO NOT buy the "light" casing option if you consider yourself an aggressive rider or frequent terrain with sharp exposed rocks. Frankly, it's sub-par. It's not "light" with a claimed weight of 100 grams more than an equivalent EXO tire from Maxxis, and significantly more prone to punctures. I can usually get away with running a light casing tire in the front and a heavy

2018 Yeti SB5 TURQ LR Bike

The Good

Everything is good about this bike. Bars, good. Frame, good. Drivetrain, good. Tires, good. Fork & Shock, fantastic.

The Bad

The price and the likely fact that this bike is beyond most mountain biker's capabilities.

The fact that the bike is well beyond my capabilities didn't stop me from getting it and it certainly hasn't stopped me for enjoying it!! I came off of a Yeti SB4.5 with an upgraded wheel set. NOBL tr33 hoops with i9 Torch hubs. I was in love with that bike from the first pedal stroke. I felt like there couldn't be a better feeling bike out there.... until i demoed the SB5 Lunch Ride. From the first pedal stroke on the Lunch Ride i felt the same way about it as i did the 4.5 when i first rode it

WTB High Tail Saddles

The Good

Very firm and light

The Bad

Very firm, sharp corners hit thighs

I'll start off by saying that I loved this saddle. Everyone that got on my bike would complain right off the bat how rigid the saddle was, but for me, it was perfect. I definitely do remember thinking it was uncomfortable for the first few rides but quickly got accustomed to it. If you are looking for a low profile saddle for long miles, you may be served better by something with a little more give, like the Silverado.
