Rain made the conditions during the second and final day of racing at the Enduro World Series in Montagnes du Caroux all the more treacherous. If the 2100 meters of climbing wasn't enough, steep, tight, technical trails were full of slippery rocks and screaming fans. Richie Rude and Cecile Ravanel survived to take the victories. Check out the pinball action from Sven Martin and @maddogboris as another weekend of incredible racing lands in the books.

Richie Rude managed to finished the race with an amazing first place! All that in front of a heaping pile of spectators on the 4 stages today. It's crazy to think that the short, novelty urban stage on day 1 is where he almost lost the race. @maddogboris
It's been awhile. -Sven Martin
This has to be one of Cecile's biggest win margins to date on the new bike. 2 min 46 second gap. #straighttothevodka -Sven Martin
Duncan Nason rode fast and smart both days and took the win in U21. A good battle with Heap who flatted on stage five. -Sven Martin
Ella Conolly took a win by over 5 minutes in the junior ladies. Perfect form for the flying youngster. *Shot during practice as we don't see the juniors on race day. -Sven Martin
Your EWS Rounds 3 Junior Girls Podium - l.t.r. Abigale Lawton, Chloe Taylor and Ella Conolly (all 3 from Britain) @maddogboris
Adrien Daily started second and finished second here in Olargues! After 8 Stages and 50 Minutes of racing he was just 5 seconds behind winner, Richie Rude. @maddogboris
Isabeau Courdurier is tough as nails. after her hard crash yesterday she kept going and finished second on stage 5, 6, and 7 to finish the race second overall! @maddogboris
Martin Maes ramping up after missing a round. -Sven Martin
Martin Maes pushed hard to jump into third but not without paying for it in blood. -Sven Martin
Yeesss Ines Thoma! From 6th position yesterday to a solid 3rd and today's podium today. The Canyon Factory Racing Team was also Team of the Day and is the new overall team leader. @maddogboris
Florian Nicolai and Martin Maes raced down to the wire with it all on the line in the final stage. -Sven Martin
Feeding during the short break after stage six. -Sven Martin
Damien Oton had a pretty good day with two 3rd positions and one stage win. 5th overall at the end for him! @maddogboris
Very rarely do we see Sam Hill have a big crash. Despite finishing 5th (which is still a good result) he still increased his overall lead in the series. -Sven Martin
A bit of tug of war with a misguided helpful spectator that caused more harm than help for quite a few riders. -Sven Martin
Mark Scott foot-out and flat-out on the tight right-hander, clinging to a cliff after a steep chute. Total French style. -Sven Martin
Then there's this. Mark Scott loads zee front wheel. -Sven Martin
Steady 9th position for Robin Wallner. -Sven Martin
Respectful 13th overall position for Thomas Lapeyrie who had some serious health issue a couple months ago. @maddogboris
Sam "Sambo" Dale you rule! And as always...fun is the key. Looking forward to see you more often at the EWS. @maddogboris
Ines Thoma's mom super supportive and pedaled to the top of the big climb. It's all in the genes. -Sven Martin
Rae Morrison in the tight woods on stage six. -Sven Martin
Great to see Francois Bailley Maitre back at an EWS after skipping the first two. Top twenty. -Sven Martin
Dimitri Tordo finished 12th with two flats. Expect to see him right up there when it goes right for him. -Sven Martin
Kevin Miquel in ninth place right out the start of stage five. -Sven Martin
It was rocky here and it wasn't just wheels, tires and riders that got abused. -Sven Martin
Caro Gehrig didn't have a strong finish to the end of the day and let her podium chances slip away. Her riding over the week showed that she will still get that podium soon though. -Sven Martin
Lunch stop in the Lapierre pits. Nico Vouilloz with some advice for Adrien who trailed Richie all day but put up a good fight. -Sven Martin
More depth in the women's field with Melanie Pugin taking fourth today. -Sven Martin
Anti-doping control here in France for the EWS podium riders plus some random numbers. -Sven Martin
Mitch Ropelato's third round of the EWS was kind of a rollercoaster with a couple ups and downs. 16th in the end! @maddogboris
No, not a stock option on the new TLD lid that Mitch is running. -Sven Martin
Custom cuts and big knobs were the call. Martin Maes' rear tire. -Sven Martin
Camille Servant didn't let the pressure get to him and he held on to his top ten today. Eighth. -Sven Martin
Richie was the fastest here on stage eight and although Oton won the stage, Richie did enough hold the lead over Dailly. -Sven Martin
Badass Cecile Ravanel! It's a pleasure to see her ride and dominate the entire field. She's always on the limit and delivers a lot of sketchy moments. Crashes wouldn't have mattered much with an overall time gap of 2:46! @maddogboris
Doesnt happen often that you see Sam Hill losing control! #onceinalifetime #exceptthecrashatworldsinvaldisole @maddogboris
Horns for the win! @maddogboris
Ruaridh Cunningham must have felt like home with the moody weather today. 14th overall position for him! @maddogboris
Katy Winton went a bit too fast in the steep rockgarden and went down hard, hitting her face on the stem and then her head on a rock. See Vital RAW for the carnage. @maddogboris
Katy Winton wasnt alone today. Marco Osborne was also ejected! @maddogboris
Your series leaders...for now. -Sven Martin
So long from France! -Sven Martin
