At $150, the new POC Axion helmet is a more reasonably priced way to get into a POC lid and their various technologies. Most notably, the Axion features SPIN technology, short for ‘Shearing Pad Inside,’ which use blue silicone-injected pads that are easily smear-able to allow the helmet to move around the head in a crash. The pads are an incredibly clean, unobtrusive, and clever way of adding this type of protection to a helmet.

The helmet features in-mold construction, a 360-degree fit adjustment system, plus a three-position visor.
