Amaury Pierron didn't get off to the best start for race day, but he turned it around after a nasty crash in morning practice to finish ahead of his key rival Loris Vergier in the overall standings and clinch the overall World Cup title for 2018. Well done Amaury!

Rachel Atherton was holding onto a slim lead over Tahnee Seagrave in the overall standings - her mission today was to try and snap Tahnee's 3-race winning streak and give herself a bit more room to breathe going into the last race of the season. Mission accomplished!
