The Syndicate Enters into the Coil vs Air Debate 7

Coil vs Air, it's a never ending debate and something that riders tend to swap out frequently.

The Syndicate have always leaned towards coil due to the progressive nature of the V10, but lately we've started to lean towards the bigger air can of the Float X2.

Tune in and see what everyones thoughts are, including a Friday morning, pre-practice puzzle with Jordi and Loris for good measure.

Are you actually part of or are you SAR? I have questions about SAR spring material? What exactly is it? Do you have load curve charts that chart the entire stroke for both standard available Mt. bike shock springs and the SAR higher pitched wound springs?

The EXT Arma is fantastic - I'm currently using one - but there will still be a difference between position-sensitive damping, spring rate, or both. A progressive coil spring would make both variables available to a coil set-up, though a progressive spring is nowhere near as progressive as an air spring, especially with some volume reducers.
