Vital RAW - Lew Buchanan is Not Nice to His Bike 21

Vital RAW

The grossest compressions, the harshest berm nerfs, loose rocks and sticks flying everywhere and not a care in the world for the safety of his Ibis HD4 as Lew Buchanan gets buck in this Vital RAW. Here's what he said about the bike he's torturing.

Frame: Ibis Mojo HD4 27.5, size large Shock: Fox Float X2 - Lo-speed compression 11 clicks, hi-speed compression 14, lo-speed rebound 11, hi-speed rebound 5, 163PSI, 1 volume spacer) Fork: Fox Float 36, 170mm - lo-speed compression 21, hi-speed compression 16, lo-speed rebound 21, hi-speed rebound 16, 70PSI, 1 volume spacer) Drivetrain: Full Shimano XTR drivetrain with 175mm cranks and 11-46t cassette. Pedals: Shimano XTR SPD. Brakes: Shimano Saint levers and callipers, 203mm rotor up front, 180mm rotor on the rear. I like my levers spongy and pretty close to the bars. Wheels: Ibis 742 Carbon wheels, tubeless. Sometimes run a Huck Norris in the rear just for protection. Hubs: i9 Torch Grips: Lizard skins Moab (I like a thicker grip for comfort. Less area to grip your hand around limits arm pump on the longer stages) Tires: Maxxis DHF 2.5 up front and also on the rear for the majority of the time and am becoming a big fan of the Assegai on the rear. Softest rubber up front and a slightly harder rubber on the rear for the speed. Front 22PSI, Rear 25PSI Seat: Fabric Line Elite Shadow Dropper post: KS Lev Carbon 170mm Mudguard: Mudhugger
