Since the 2020 UCI World Cup Downhill is postponed until the coronavirus settles down, let's look back at the top riders of the 2019 race season. Loris Vergier of the Santa Cruz Syndicate had some highs and lows and ended up as the 5th place finisher in the 2019 World Cup DH.

He very well be. I think what really has made the difference for Bruni is his mechanic and his mechanics dedication to data logging and analysis. Having a specific data bike and spending time on it at every track is in my opinion currently a big advantage over trying to explain what the suspension is doing and then tune based on feelings and words.

But then we would miss out on Loris Jordy conversations and no one thinks that is a good idea.

I'm in the same boat, the issue is that as a junior Loris had some horrendous crashes which set him back from what was originally a progression curve that looked even higher than Bruni.

Not sure but I think it's Laurent Delorme said Vergier is more like an artist compared to the meticulous and solid pro who Bruni is.

wow,that's quite a compliment! I think it perfectly matches how i perceive their differences regarding how they ride a bike. I mean there was this one time, Loris saddle bonked off that road gap at Fort William, from a very slow roll after sliding out in the mud. he made it look so damn easy.
