you see how muscular that guy is in interviews and then you see how stable and aggressive he is at speed and the connection is clear. a beast indeed. love the sound in this video, he tortures some wheels and tires something fierce.

He almost never drops his outside foot. Seems like his pedals are level or very close in 90% of the turns. Kinda interesting.

Hhmmm, check out the technique @ - 0:28, 0:54, 0:55, 0:58, 1:12, 1:16, 1:47, 1:59, 2:09, 2:39.

What you are seeing is more so how many turns with support we have a WC's, how subtle Amaury's foot work is and how stable modern race bikes are!

As a picky bastard, I’ll say to have a look at that again.
In unsupported corners, or where the turn is longer, he drops the outside foot.
That’s about the only time it looks like his hips are outside too. He’s otherwise really lined up feet to head, level pedals like you say.
All edging, no hedging. F’in amazing riding.
