Overall Review
As my friends and I have gotten older and have gained moreresponsibilityin life, we have moved our wild and reckless activities from the daytime to the night. Yes, we are spending as much time and money as cocaine addicts do.The only difference is ours recklessnessis targeted solely on mountain biking. Key to this is our discovery of night lights. After doing a ton of research on what are the best brands and models of lights, I found myself sticking a Niterider Pro 1500 on my bars. Here's why: Running time: The NiteRider Pro 1500 has a running time of 1.5 hours on the brightest (1500 lumen)...

Niterider TL5.0 Rear Light
The Good

Easy install and battery swap.

The Bad

nothing so far.

Overall Review
If you cruise around town or commute to work via bike, you probably already have lights sorted out for your bike. If not, the Niterider TL5.0 is a good inexpensive option to alert those behind you that you exist. Some of the nice features about this Niterider is that it is easy to install, comes with a rubber shim that should help fit any size post, it uses a common battery size (AAA), and it has a number of different flashing modes that you can cycle through. It's probably not the fanciest or toughest rear light out there, but at under $10, this has been a good purchase and adds a little...

Niterider Cherry Bomb Rear Light
The Good

1. Weather seals are good // 2. Super Bright and has a couple modes // 3. Usable clip // 4. Works for running as well as the bike // 5. Super long battery life

The Bad

1. I broke the seatpost hard mount in a crash. I'm deducting 1.5 stars for that. // 2. The flash or strobe mode may give riders behind you seizures. :)

I've been running this little gem for about a year and a half now and do a lot of night riding in the fall and winter months. I don't want to be in the unfortunate spot of having some distracted motorist taking me out while I'm along the road headed to the trail. And as I ride solo often it gives me some piece of mind knowing that if I am down and a search goes out, they will find me in the dark. It is so bright those who would come looking will be able to see you easily and the battery life is so long that it'll last a couple of days straight. At the end of last winter I was riding in the...

Niterider MiNewt.600 Cordless Bike Light
The Good

Good price. Lights the trail up enough for a somewhat decent paced ride. Clamps on and off your bars easy. Can be used as a flashlight if needed .Has a good look to it. Real Durable. Wide beam.

The Bad

Shakey beam when strapped to your helmet. Not enough light if you really want to blaze thru the trail. Long charge time (5 hours) Only lasts 1.5 hours on the brightes setting.

Overall Review
This is my first light that I've purchased and I'm defintely happy with it. But it's stilljust not enough light to ride the trail with if you want to really go fast.If your just leasurly riding, it's more then enough light to shine your way. I would suggest this light to a friend, because of the quality and price for what it does.

Niterider Pro 3000 Bike Light
The Good

1. Battery life - Well over 3 hours on 1500/3000 lumens settings. 2. Design is well thought of and the handle bar mount is adjustable to any position one may need. 3. The charger is solid and well designed. 4. Batter case and battery are also rugged and durable. 5. Velcro straps for the battery and...

The Bad

1. Battery and battery case could shave some weight. This is the only downside i can think of!

This is a product that is definitely worth buying if you are looking for a high end lighting system and performance to boot! Most users will find that the 1500 lumens setting is more than enough but when you need it, the 3000 Lumens will blow you away and light up the trails! Usually my buddies save on their batteries because I'm lighting the trail for them when I'm riding behind the pack. Would not buy any other lighting system as I wont be able to accept anything less than Nite Rider quality and performance!
