HT X2 Pedlas (Product Review)
The Good
solid, secure
The Bad
If you don't like a solid 'click' in and out, you won't like these
Overall Review
I've hammered a single paid of these for 4 years now, on three different bikes. They have held up great and although I'm now retiring them, the pair I have still work as designed. I replaced the cleats once in this period. The platform is big - biggest I've seen for clipless pedals, and, in cases where I couldn't get clipped in right away, putting my foot wiht the cleat just in front of the mechanism provided decent traction until I could get clipped back in. These pedals have a solid click and release - the opposite of crank brothers, and even more definded than Shimano. I like that, but not...

HT Components PA01A (Product Review)
The Good
Platform shape. Decent traction. Cheap. Light. Reliable enough. Simple to rebuild.
The Bad
Short in length. Basic seal.
Overall Review
Intro As an OE part on many mountain models from a local bike brand, me and my riding peers have plenty of miles racked up on both these and HTs lower-tier siblings (PA12A, PA12). Cheapest has a convex body with plastic pins, middle of the range adds metal pins everywhere except on the innermost position and top of the line has metal pins only, two traction pads on the centreline, plus an undercut in the centre of the plastic body to gain some concavity. Internals remain the same. Review I pretty much learned how to ride on these pedals, and only recently after 8 or so years, I started to be...

Tight & light (Product Review)
The Good
Very tight Light Good looking
The Bad
Almost spd cleat
Overall Review
I've used various SPDs through the years and heard that these could be cranked tighter and for the price or an XT pedal weighted as much as XTR. As a long time user of SPD on multiple bikes it is kinda annoying to have a bike with non SPDs so I have to remember to bring the right shoes for the ride. But the quality seems great, I haven't had any issues other than fallinb over with my bike still attached to me. The bike I put them on has a loooowww BB so pedal strikes unclipped my SPDs a lot but doesn't seem to happen as much with these.

Good and bad luck (Product Review)
The Good
Held feet securely.
The Bad
Hard to clip into. Pedals broke and I was unable to take them apart.
Overall Review
I got a pair of X2's coming from crankbrothers. It took me a little bit to learn how to clip in quickly. Once I learned it wasn't too bad but still stiff to clip in. However the pedals held my feet very well and never came unclipped randomly. Now onto the bad. The bearings would always be coming loose. This wasn't too big of a deal but after about 8 months of using the pedals the nut that holds the pedal together was unable to be tightened. In addition to this, the nut was unable to be removed. It spun in either direction and nothing happened. This of course greatly confused me and everyone I...
