Atomlab Pimplite Stem
The Good

Nice reach, perfect for 25.4mm bars (duh) perfect positioning overall.

The Bad

One of the face-plate bolts stripped out, due to user error. My fault that it happened.

Overall Review
Would recommend, just be careful when tightening down.

Atomlab Superlite SL 26 Wheelset
The Good

Sweet engagement, stiff and light.

The Bad

Takes you places you maybe shouldn't go

Overall Review
I had been hearing about these wheels from the local shop guys for months. I'd heard the talk of mutiple pawls, the lightweight, stiff build, increased contact points, added bearings, and the song of those pawls ratcheting as they blazed down the trail behind me, goading me to ride faster to escape the buzz, like a group of cicadas shaking off their skins. So when I got an offer to demo them for myself, I jumped at the chance. I decided to head out to a series of local trails with lots of technical climbing that would present the perfect tests. I started on Barrel Roll, a steady 2-mile climb...

Atomlab DHR Handlebar
The Good

Great looks, Durable, Wide, great feel, Weight is low for and aluminum DH bar

The Bad

No center marks or cut off lines

Overall Review
I picked up the Atomlab DHR bars after seeing them at Interbike 2014. I was looking to replace the stock cockpit and was impressed with both the DHR bars and SL stem from Atomlab. They have several colors to go with the scheme of most bike, but I went with the white decal black bars and black stem to coordinate with the white accents on my 2015 Cannondale Jekyll. The bars are wide (800mm) and have a good feel with 5 degrees of upsweep and 9 degrees of backsweep. A lot of bars have 10 degrees of backsweep which works well with shorter bars, but on something this wide the angle is a bit extreme...

Atomlab Superlite SL 650b Wheelset
The Good

Weight, Strength, looks

The Bad

A bit narrow

Overall Review
This summer i picked up an early season Cannondale Jekyll 4. I bought this low end model because it came with the basic frame and fork set up I wanted but then left me freedom to build the rest the way I wanted it. One of those changes that I made right out of the gate was to install the new Atomlab Suprelite 650b wheels. Atomlab components have always been durable and I was looking for a wheel set that would perform over the long haul in the Las Vegas dust, ledges, and drops that constitute the majority of my riding. Installation I set mine up tubeless (is there another way) right out of the...

Atomlab SL Stem
The Good

Stiff, Lighter than it looks.

The Bad

None observed, unless you value weight over strength and stiffness.

Overall Review
I have had the Atomlab SL stem on my 2015 Cannondale Jekyll since interbike in September. I put it on to replace the stock 50mm OEM cannondale stem that came on the bike. The machining is superb and the laser etched graphics are amazing. But besides giving my bike a much better look the stiffness that it provides along with the DHR handlebar is incredible. I went with a 70mm on my Jekyll because wanted just a bit more length that the stock set up and my cockpit is perfect.

Atomlab Superlite SL 26 Wheelset
The Good

Super Light, Fast, Strong, and Quick Engagement.

The Bad

Apparently attracts K-9's...

Overall Review
I decided to ride a local trail called Zen to test out my new Atomlab Superlite SL wheels. I had much anticipation with the 102 Rear hub. I upgraded my own personal bike a few years back and went from 15 degrees of engagement on the free hub to 7.5 degrees cutting it in half.. So needless to say when upon learning about the Atomlab 102 Rear hub offered 3.5 degrees I was intrigued and had to have a pair. Upon arrival of my new wheel set I proceeded to install my tires and set them up tubeless which was very easy...no complications and the Kenda Nevegal tires seated up without fail... The...

Atomlab SL Trail 650b Wheelset
Vital Review
Overall Review
Review by Cory Tepper // Photos by Emily Peterson and Cory Tepper As a long time fan of Atomlab I was quite stoked to see new product rolling out after some bumpy years of management changes and reduced industry presence. As a go-to rim for DH and DJ bikes the Pimplite has been in my stable for years and whilst indestructible she is not a light horse. Well, my favorite workhorse hit the gym, shed some grams and picked up an “SL” tattoo. Pulling these wheels out of the box was rad. They are light, loud and flashy, and I couldn't wait to mount them up and hit the trails. Atomlab DHR SL 650B...
