SDG Tellis Dropper Seatpost
Overall Review
The Story What do you get when one of the most reputable MTB saddle companies with over 25 years of experience buys a $140 linear actuator? The dropper post you’ve all been waiting for, that’s what! SDG has been committed to making saddles for decades and after watching silently, we’ve decided to address the four problems we found with dropper posts on the market: durability, simplicity, feather light actuation and affordability. SDG owner, Tyler Anspach is passionate about the new post stating

Fun!!!!!!!!!!
The Good
Such a fun bike. Descends like a boss and climbs pretty good. You won’t buy this bike to climb. Point it downhill and hang on!!
The Bad
Nothing crazy. Just check all the bolts before first ride.
Overall Review
Great bike to pedal around and crush descents. Very comfortable I’m 6ft and went with the L. Could’ve went bigger but decided on comfort.

2019 Pivot Trail 429 Pro XT/XTR 1X
Overall Review
Pivot's Mach 429 Trail was born from cross-country roots with a hint of some big bike influence. During a previous Vital MTB Test Sessions it wowed us with its incredible sense of efficiency and playful, spritely, rocket ship feel, but it often fell behind when trail conditions got hairy. New for 2019, Pivot has redesigned the frame with a ground-up approach and a clear focus on making the bike more capable. They've tweaked the name as well, and it's now simply referred to as the Trail 429. So

Maxxis Assegai Tire
Overall Review
Following the recent launch of their first signature edition tire in some time, the Assegai, Maxxis gave us a chance to learn more about the tire from the people behind it, including former DH World Champion himself, Greg Minnaar. Santa Cruz Bicycles’ headquarters played host to our merry tribe and gave us a chance to spend some quality time talking and riding with Greg and the Maxxis team to learn more about the development process, how things are going, and what may lay in wait down the road

WTB Koda Saddle
The Good
Great shape, great padding, comfy cutout.
The Bad
None as of yet.
Overall Review
I ran the WTB Pure V for many moons and loved it, but it was big and ugly so I switched to the Volt. I ran the mid sized Volt and liked it at first, but soon found on longer rides that it was giving my sit bones grief. I thought I liked the volt, so I bought the wider one and after a season on that I still wasn't happy, I liked the width, but didn't love the padding or the cutout. I read a few different comments on the koda and decided to give it a go in the wide size. I'm a huge fan! The

As I sit here typing this, I realized why I am writing this review.. Armchair warriors. I see a lot of negative comments from people without trying products themselves. Sure we all want to save our hard earned money and buy what we know and trust. But without the people who buy the product and give feedback, it’s hard for a company to actually take feedback serious. I’ve already started the fire for you and I am ready for the rage induced patreons to flame this review. If you’ve made it this far

We’ve been fans of the Racecraft goggle since it was first launched, won over by a comfortable design and good compatibility with most helmets. When 100% introduced the Racecraft +, we were particularly intrigued by the appearance of an injection molded lens, said to offer better impact resistance and improved optical clarity. Since those are both features we value, we wanted to put them to the test. No sooner said than done. Strengths Weaknesses Comfort Improved vision clarity Impact resistance

All Mountain Style Frame Protection
Overall Review
Don’t you just hate it when you discover a nasty scuff on your shiny new frame? Xavi and Carles, two business people and passionate mountain bikers from Barcelona, Spain, felt like a good product for protecting mountain bike frames was missing, and that’s the reason why they created All Mountain Style, a company that makes frame protectors and some other useful bits and bobs. Keeping design and production in Barcelona was another imperative for them, which is particularly interesting (and
