Kenda Small Block Eight Pro Tires
Rating:
The Good
These tires are PERFECT for a 26' dirt jumper because they are good for dirt jumps, bmx, and pump track. The tires wear well. They are also super light and provide unbelievable traction.
The Bad
The only bad thing I can stay about they tires is that they cake up with mud but that's why they are considered dry condition tires.
Overall Review:

Overall these tires are great! They are great for all types of riding, last a long time, good grip, and are very light weight. I completely recommend you buying these tires!

My go to tire for over 10 years now!

The Good
If you're looking for a lightweight fast rolling tire this is it!
The Bad
This is a great tire for hard pact conditions but that also means there are better options for loose and wet conditions.
Overall Review:

I would highly recommend this tire to anyone that is looking for a lightweight fast rolling tire. I use it mainly for dirtjumping, pumptrack, and slopestyle and have been more than happy with the way it performs.

SB8 - Great all-round tire
Rating:
The Good
The Kenda Small Block 8 is a great all-condition tire for wet and dry conditions on dirt, gravel, rocks and roots. With 8 small treads across the width of the tire there is always good contact with the terrain. The tire compound is tough and these tires last a long time.
The Bad
In extreme wet or loose conditions this tire would not be the best choice.
Overall Review:

The Kenda Small Block 8 is a great tire for most conditions as long as are you are not riding in extreme mud or extremely loose terrain. It performs well over roots and rocks with good traction thanks to the 8 small knobs across the width of the tire. It is available with a TR and KSCT casing and both perform well. Choose the KSCT casing if you ride in rocky terrain where you need extra sidewall protection.

Fast Rolling but Slippery
Rating:
The Good
These tires roll extremely smooth and efficiently, and have nearly no resistance to steering input. They are agile and fun to snipe tiny transfers and root/rock lips with. On a bike that sees both asphalt and dirt, they are a great balancing act. And after 4 years of use they are holding up great. These tires are perfect for trails coated with pine needles; slide when you want to, track when you need to.
The Bad
They suck for use in the Pacific Northwest. Do you like riding in the early Spring of Fall? Then you don't like these tires and they don't like you. These things shed mud like an air hand-dryer dries your hands. They don't. Even if they did, the front wheel would be retreating from you at every turn. Fishtailing is fun though, maybe pair with a slightly beefier front tire.
Overall Review:

These tires are good for what they are; fast rolling cross tires. They get put on 'hybrid" bikes and that's a very good application, but dry xc is a good target too. If you have dry and packed conditions, these tires will be fun and precise, as well as long lasting. Even on pavement.

They're like Turbo Tires!

The Good
Rolls super smooth, therefore fast and flowing. Great for hard pack, fine on road and surprising agile off road.
The Bad
Stay away from mud, not much sidewall for rock gardens.
Overall Review:

I bought these for my "loaner" and sometimes "urban assault" Hard Rock 29'er. They are instant ego boost compared to my Nomad with 2.5 Chunders!  Easy to squeeze speed out of these when pumping. I learned the next level of pumping Partly Because of these SB8's. I find myself on the 29'er more often just because Rolling is the Best Return on Turning the Cranks...

I'musing this tire on the front of my DJ bike and it is awesome! It has just enough tread to Dirt Jump with and not too much to go hit up the skate park. I love it!
