The Bad
direct mount compatibility (i think they have changed for 2012 to boxxer style)
Overall Review:
had the original 04 888s and loved them, then went to and been on Boxxer till i got the 2010 888rc3 evo Ti. Im 100% never ever EVER going back to a Boxxer fork. I live in Whistler riding and racing as much as possible. I ride a lot and can happily say my 888s out preform my Boxxers and require little to no maintenance. 1-2 rebuilds each season compared to a rebuild every 2nd week on the Boxxer. People need to loose the old stigma of the Marzocchi problems of previous years. My 'new and improved' 2010 Boxxer team came with no oil, warranty return, rebound cartridge seized, warranty return, seized again, return, arched snapped on a crank it up berm, warranty return, then got rid of them thank god. Now after 2 full Whistler seasons on the 888 they still feel like new

Plushly Perfect

The Good
They "break-in" super quick and are great to ride. The plushness these forks have off the top is amazing and they ramp so well. I have had difficulty bottoming them out, but not to difficult. They are super reliable.
The Bad
The direct mount stem options are limited, but that didn't limit me from running these super forks.
Overall Review:
I have ZERO complaints. The fork tracks so well, and gobbles up big hits. They are have a perfect balance of stiffness and flex. The tuning is striaght forward and you can feel changes when you make them. I love this fork!

Simply Amazing

The Good
Incredibly reactive and controlled over everything, not too heavy, simple to setup.
The Bad
Dives quite a bit under breaking, dont really like the idea of a 1 size fits all spring, the direct mount options are limited.
Overall Review:
I think i need to put the stiffer spring in it, but all in all its the best fork on the market, get it you will not be disappointed.

888 RC3 EVO Ti
Rating:
The Good
good price and plush
The Bad
heavy and the air volume adjuster clicks when the suspension is compressed. I truly think the air volume adjuster is just a gimmick cause you don't feel a difference if its all the way in or out. Mine has already been sent back n it still does the same thing.
Overall Review:
If you want a heavy fork that makes a lot of noise it is perfect for you. Than again maybe i just got a crummy batch of forks
