Protective - will take hits

Strong, protective
The Bad
Need to make an XS size
Overall Review:

See the review on the FLY Racing Default Helmet. I bought the Fly helmet to replace this one as an inexpensive one for doing training and practice. The Fly failed in less than 24 hours resulting in a fractured jaw. The Giro helmet protected my son with much bigger hits that the Fly and he walked away completely fine.

Buying this one again! Protect you head, protect your face - buy this helmet.

Overall Review:
I've been riding remedy helmets for probably 10 years. I just keep picking them up as they can be had relatively cheaply and I know they fit my head.  I've had my fair share of bad wrecks and can't fault the helmet for anything.  It stopped a pointy stick that was headed for my head, and has worked well with my Leatt when I took an awkward OTB head bounce fall.  I've never found it super hot or super cool.  I do take it off on the lift usually.  What can you really say about a helmet?  It is protective, works with my other gear and there are at least some palatable graphics each year.  No one will drool over it like they will a D3 but for half the price, I'm fine with that.

Excellent Helmet, poor sizing

Has all you need, for a good price.
The Bad
What if your not small medium or large?
Overall Review:

I am a bit of a baller on a budget, and after riding non carbon for 4 years i decided to upgrade, and immediately decided on the Remedy because of its iconic image. So many people have ridden the remedy and for good reason, its light, durable, and breathes quite well. I have had some long days with this on my head, and its the type of helmet you dont feel the need to take off going up every run. Also for me, the clip is much better than the D loop, i find that a hassle and the clip is all you need to keep it on. Also great fit for a wide range of goggles.

The only issue i have with this helmet is the minimal size range. Maybe it is more cost effective for Giro to offer 3 sized however for me the large was way to big, and the medium is a bit too snug. A M/L would be so perfect, but is it too much to ask? Also I didnt find the sizing chart to be 100% accurate.

In conclusion, i would totally recommend this helmet to anyone, budget in mind or not however make sure to try on the helmet before purchase because it may not be right for you.

Burly Helmet

Nice ventilation, washable pads, fits my Smith goggles well. Fits my big head. has survived a number of big hits.
The Bad
Not quite as light as other CF helmets. Some of the color/Graphics sets are a bit much.
Overall Review:

My 2010 model did everything I could have asked it to, it held up to a number of big hits on rocks. There was abrasion to the shell down to the Carbon Fiber,  but it is still structurally intact.  I got this to replace my fiberglass Giro that had done it's tour of duty and survived.

Good ventilation and fits all the goggles I have ever tried with it.

I will happily be replacing this one with another shortly.
