Untouchable x 2 - Enduro World Series Madeira Race Slideshow 7

View as: Slideshow | One Page

Three races, three wins. Both Martin Maes and Isabeau Courdurier keep their perfect seasons alive in the 2019 Enduro World Series. Round three in Madeira, Portugal, was an island paradise full of dreamy trails, but the challenge was keeping bike and body together for eight stages over two days of racing. The dust is just barely settling, but Sven Martin and @maddogboris deliver the goods from MTB paradise.

Boris' shot of Maes drifting is amazing. Think about how small that window of opportunity is, and Martin just happened to slide that particular corner. Great work!

Man...so the wrist bands they give the riders...do they start to bruise after a stage or two? I mean...they're pointy. My watch bugs me after a big long run & it's blunt. Those things just stick out quite a bit.

Great name! Both Courdurier and Maes so far this year are the "Untouchables".

And as always, best coverage and photos in the business.
