Description
Today was the day 0 of this first edition of the Andes Pacifico presented by Santa Cruz.

80 riders were transported to the Ski Resort of La Parva. Riders registered and grabbed the accomodations that will cover them from the cold Andean Night. After registration our media crew went for a ride to check the terrain where they found some dusty and rocky trails.

After dinner riders had the first briefing where the race's director Matias Del Solar presented the Montenbaik team that will be working on this race. It's the same crew that will be producing the first round of the Enduro World Series on April 18-19, 2014 at Nevados de Chillan, Chile.

Matias summarized the 4 days of this unique event, focusing on the first day of racing.

Day one will feature:

40 kms total length of the day

4 Special Stages

23 kms of Special Stages

3670 meters of vertical downhill

We are looking forward to start the Andes Pacifico tomorrow.
