Marc Beaumont talks about the mixed sections and feelings he has about the track and compromises you must make. -Sven Martin

Pans and zooms, just like the video guys. -Sven Martin
We've all been there snagging our shorts on some part of our bike, however, catching your helmet on the front of your saddle must be an entirely different and terrifying experience. -Duncan Philpott
Bryceland confesses to loving the track here. Wild moments like this go a long way to keeping the excitement levels high. Ridden out too, in case you were wondering. -Duncan Philpott
Back on a Bull bike and looking comfortable right away. Wyn Masters has proven his tech skills at Val di Sole and fitness at PMB, so it will be interesting to see how he fares on race day. -Duncan Philpott
Last year Morgane Charre took us all by surprise winning World Champs her in Leogang. She's back on flat pedals and looking to repeat! -Duncan Philpott
Noel Needs-a-burger was another who did well here last year putting in a 4th place, riding the same 650b wheels he's on today. -Duncan Philpott
Quite the photographer himself, Gianluca Vernassa can often be seen on track camera in hand getting his own perspective on the races outside pinning it between the tape. -Duncan Philpott
A little known fact about Lorenzo Suding is that he's fluent in over 5 languages and equally as talented on the bike. -Duncan Philpott
Some people may refer to the course being similar to a bike park but that doesn't mean it's not gnarly enough to chew you up, snap a brake and cover you in mud. -Duncan Philpott
Eddie Masters never ceases to impress with his vast wardrobe. Any guesses as to what he has in store tomorrow? -Duncan Philpott
Synchronized slamming. There were Juniors flying left, right, and center. -Duncan Philpott
Francisco Pardal, Portugal's National Champion in both DH and goon airs, sends the blind fadeaway before the first woods. Extra points for the feet style. -Sven Martin
Brendog in the rare bit of sun possibly on his 29 front, 27.5 rear setup that he mentioned yesterday. -Duncan Philpott
Austrian National Cycling Federation rules state that no rider can be on track without gloves, elbow protection and back protection. Deano here forgot about the gloves rule. -Duncan Philpott
Rachel Atherton in audio - A whip with a view. The bike park section of the track stretches on and round the corner into the second woods section. From groomed to natural, the course is a bike setup puzzle. -Duncan Philpott

Andrew Neethling is keen to follow up from last weekend's momentum. He was on it, slip sliding around in today's practice. -Sven Martin

Marcello is Pro at these artificial banked corners that are better suited to sketchy urban courses rather than World Cups in beautiful natural locations. -Sven Martin
Emmeline Siegenthaler checking the overall ranking. She currently sits in 7th, only 72 points away from a move up to 6th. @Maddogboris
Micayla Gatto leaning it in on the first turn. Matching frame and helmet liner with goggles is def Vital approved. Roost always helps too. -Sven Martin
Cous Cous shows he is more than just a team owner and manager. Speed and style for the fast Frenchman. -Sven Martin
#svenisgoodatdoubledippingbutnotfiletransferring @Maddogboris
Myriam Nicole looking oh-so-moto with the mud, knees and eyes looking far ahead. The latest Commencal Riding Addiction member from Hafjell is not to be missed with. -Sven Martin

Tracy Hannah up top in the mist. -Sven Martin
Steve Smith tried the "park" bike for two runs, but without a proper timed practice has opted to just stick with his DH bike for the rest of the weekend. Tough choice on a track with such a flat pedally middle bit just like South Africa. Mike Redding in the audio. -Sven Martin
Is this Sam Hill taking his last run down the mountain in the 2013 World Cup? @Maddogboris
Yeah Conner. -Sven Martin
Ben Reid weaving through the hard and soft obstacles in the first woods. When Ben has passed you know practice is officially over. -Sven Martin

Description
With all the bike park hate coming from course walk day, the Leogang World Cup track decided to dish out a little bit of humble pie. The first practice session of the final World Cup downhill race proved potentially costly with rumors of Minnaar and Hill out with season-ending knee injuries. The track was wet, the wind was up and conditions were rougher than course inspection led on. The World Cup marches on in Leogang for one last dance.
