Description
Racing from the Montenbaik Enduro, the first stop of the 2014 Enduro World Series, kicked off with Stages 1 through 3 today in the Andes near Nevados de Chillan, Chile. The 3 stages featured a total of 1560-meters of descending and 9.1-kilometers of total timed racing. Stages 1 and 3 were sub-4-minutes runs for top Pro riders while Stage 2 was the challenge of the day at around 11-minutes for the majority of Pro Men. By the time the last rider crossed the finish line of Stage 3, Jared Graves had earned top spot, over 10-seconds ahead of rival, Jerome Clementz. Graves' effort on Stage 2 set him apart with 3 stages of racing remaining on Sunday. French female dominator, Anne-Caroline Chausson continued her winning ways with a solid start to the weekend, sitting 21-seconds ahead of 2nd place, Tracy Moseley.
