Crashes, broken shoes, flat tires, getting lost on liaisons, nothing can stop Richie it seems. Clawing his way back to the top after a comeback winning the last three stages. -Sven Martin
The riders had a cage they could access one time when passing through Creekside. Richie thought he would start a new trend and went for mismatched shoes for the second half of the day. -Sven Martin
Everyone thinks Richie Rude's wins may come easy, but he is a mortal and makes mistakes like everyone else. He just never uses them as an excuse. Stage one. -Sebastian Schieck
Always low always attacking, that's how you have to do it if you are chasing the number one spot all day. Mission accomplished for Cecile. -Sven Martin
This was a something you had to witness in real life on stage four. Jesse Melamed dropped from the square, inside line out of the air into the catch berm, muscled it out and back on the gas. That's how you end up on the podium in Whistler. Squeezing in a stage win on stage two along the way. -Sven Martin
When Jesse Melamed warns you that he may come close to where you are shooting, it's best to take head. Check out the trailing shrapnel in the second frame. -Sven Martin
Isabeau led the race until the final stage. One of these days she will win one of these things. -Sven Martin
Adrien Dailly racking up the win in the Juniors with three stage wins and two 2nd places. -Sebastian Schieck

Martin Scrub Dog Maes sending it sideways off the sterilized GLC drop into the finish. -Sven Martin
Anita Gehrig with another solid finish Top 5. Here she snakes her way down stage four. -Sven Martin

Brook Macdonald getting his enduro on on the wooden wallride. -Sven Martin
After two second places in the last races, Sam Hill was probably hoping for more than 8th, but once again proved that he can keep up with the "full enduro guys" whatever terrain you throw at him. -Sebastian Schieck
Troy Brosnan did well on stage one (as did the rest of the downhillers entered), but from there it got a lot tougher and hotter. Good to see him out keeping fit leading up to the last two big DH races of the year. -Sven Martin
Leaving a trail of dust on stage five. Curtis Keene continues his good form with another Top 10 result in 9th. -Sebastian Schieck
A flat tire on stage one destroyed Jared Graves' ambitions of another good result early on. Soldiering on to stage two, bad luck struck again with another flat tire. -Sebastian Schieck
Rae Morrison had a bit of nightmare day. Casing a rock bent her chainring and broke her chain on stage three, then a snapped pedal on five led to breaking her heel. Day over. Heal up. -Sven Martin
A few big crashes kept Florian Nicolai out of his usual Top 10 placing. Unfortunately he will lose some points in the overall. -Sven Martin
Frother frothing. -Sven Martin
Golden light for Jerome on Crazy Train. He holds on to the Top 3 in the series overall. -Sven Martin
Aussie GT junior downhiller, Jackson Frew, misses out on the Junior podium by only one second after over 50 minutes of racing. Did the mad scrub help or hurt his chances? -Sven Martin

Great result for McKay Vezina. 14th for the new, young Giant Canadian rider. @maddogboris
Damien Oton, super consistent all year again. 6th today with a 2nd and a 4th in stages. -Sven Martin
Flat tire already in the middle of stage two, but railing hard nonetheless. Richie never gives up and it's not over until the end. -Sven Martin
Quite and calm under pressure and in all situations. That's the making of a champion. Richie at the bottom of stage two. -Sven Martin
So many good photos of Blenki to choose from, so we apologize that we went with the uphill-sprint shot, Blenki. But we like that you are digging deep in stage three after the long climb. -Sven Martin
Sarah Leishman getting her drift on during stage one on Angry Pirate. -Sven Martin
The moment Cecile realized she has done enough to clinch the win. -Sven Martin

Sebastien Claquin didn't have the best start with a 7th on stage one, but turned it up from there taking second in the Junior class. -Sebastian Schieck
Wonderful to see Anne Caro racing again. Although she said she was just here to ride, she still nabbed a Top 3 stage finish. The long stages were tough for her so soon after her chemotherapy. -Sebastian Schieck
Picture postcard Whistler views for home town boy Jesse Melamed. -Sebastian Schieck
Anneke Beerten making her way down the last stage of the day. Not a bad place to be. -Sebastian Schieck

Bottoms up! Cheers to all the winners. -Sebastian Schieck
Flash poaching a very delayed podium. Lights out from Whistler. See you all in France next. -Sven Martin
