Gwin goes fastest with fresh stitches, Rachel goes fastest with a busted-up shoulder and nary a rider figured they had a good run in qualifying at the Lenzerheide World Cup DH today due to the loose, unpredictable conditions. It was a roll of the dice with plenty of heavy hitters missing out on race day.

Aaron Gwin was charging hard despite having 6 stitches in his knee yesterday evening. Top spot in Lenzerheide and with the longest wait at the top of the hill tomorrow. -Dan Hearn

Kade Edwards took a tumble in his quali run but managed to cross the line in 15th. It's a fine balance between pushing hard and preventing crashes on the unpredictable Swiss dirt. -Dan Hearn
A wild run in parts for Laurie Greenland. It will be interesting to see how the track is running tomorrow and whether riders need to reign in some aggression in order to have a faster time overall. -Dan Hearn
