The Top 3 Elite Men were separated by less than a second at the 2019 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill qualifier in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, today. Three riders, less than a second. To comprehend just how close that is after nearly three minutes of flat-out, on-the-edge DH racing is pretty mind boggling. Danny Hart went fastest with Loic only .1 off and Troy Brosnan just .8 off. The women's racing, while not down to hundredths of a second was still close, too, with Tracey Hannah edging out Nina Hoffman by just 1.9. Sven Martin and Dan Hearn capture those milliseconds so we can somehow try to make sense of the insanity.

Not the day Brook or Mike Jones were after, both ending with a front flat. -Dan Hearn
Early morning training is always a bit greasy for the women. Monika Hrastnik sends it to the finish. -Sven Martin

Despite the grin, Brendan was gutted with his out-of-the-blue rookie mistake, throwing it all away on the first corner. He was still kind enough to join Loic for the next Outspoken episode dropping on Monday. -Sven Martin
