Troy Brosnan shows off his custom-painted Specialized Demo 8. He received this bike at World Champs this past season and has been running it since. He's running a custom carbon bashguard and prototype Renthal stem. His RockShox BoXXer has BlackBox internals, too.

Code calipers with X0 Trail levers, is it because of the reach adjust? But does the whole thing work?

Specialized have been specing the Demo with the combination of Code calipers and Juicy/Elixer/Trail levers for a long time

Yep, I'd hate to have a carbon DH frame and cranks. And the thought of having some DT wheels built by a World Cup mechanic makes me feel sick. The only thing appealing to me are Troy's shoelaces. I feel sorry for Troy having to put up with using that bike to podium at World Cups.

have you ridden a demo ? do you have any friends that have warrantyed 2 pairs of xo dh cranks literally cracked in the middle of the arm ? have you had a straight up test from a bran new shimano set up to a bran new sram set up ? if you have then thats still you opinion but sram=shit as far assmothness in shifting and if youve seen cranks break in fornt of your face maybe youd think different ok

Yes to riding a Demo. I run Sram carbon cranks and I'm big. My point is the throw away comments about other peoples bikes, as if you know everything. It's not just you, there are loads of people who can't just read an article (in this case an interview) without slagging off, directly or indirectly peoples equipment. You jumped in with your comment and did not add anything to this feature, mainly because no one knows who you are! Maybe I'm getting old.

To sum up, I have got a carbon frame and carbon cranks, but sarcasm only works when its directed at the original comment. Well spotted Reinforcer, you English?
