@primoz I am thankful that you took my comment at face value instead of perceiving sarcasm.

Too many bikes these days have Reach numbers that are longer than their seat tube lengths just to accommodate baggy pants and unrestrained male genitalia. I am so happy to see the Furgler uses a 520ST with a 463Reach. Strap up your boys, boys!

I'm not sure about the sarcasm part anymore... But anyway, regardless if your comments are sarcasm or not, long reach numbers are a consequence of other factors. Namely the steep seat tube angles. Which are SORELY needed, trust me, speaking from experience. And looking at the reach numbers of modern bikes and complaining how long they are just shows how utterly useless the reach number is, as it gives you _zero_ information regarding how the bike will fit once seated and pedalling. And sorry, but everything up to enduro bikes is used to pedal sitting down predominantly, only DH, park and freeride bikes can ignore the pedalling characteristics. So, a steep seat tube angle and a decently long top tube (longer than with a slacker seat tube angle, because the seat moving backwards lengthens the cockpit on those as well) gives you an 'insane' reach. Yet the bike pedals and climbs like a champ. It might be a bit 'unwieldy' going down since it's long, but it is fast. And considering I pedal ~50 minutes of the hour and descend ~5 minutes of the hour (with the remaining 5 minutes spent changing clothes, getting ready, etc.), the bike fitting me seated and pedalling and performing well there is _by_ _far_ the most important factor of riding the bike.

Given the geometry numbers, how 'polished' the frame lines look for a completely unknown brand straight out of the box and given the similarity of the lower link to the design Pivot uses (similarity or blatant plagiarism?), it's no surprise.

Looking at your link, I genuinely wonder who puts in the time and effort to spew out such bullshit about designing the bike and all, when it's catalogue bought (I know, it's still much easier than actually designing a bike...), but most importantly, how much do the sites have to be paid to write things like these? We're talking about a bike that has at least a 2 degree steeper head tube angle (though then adjusted with an angleset...) and a few cm shorter wheelbase than the, at the time current, crop of modern bikes. But regardless, a lot of work has gone into the carbon layup? I'm amazed at what gets sold successfully in this industry.

Except for the fact their geometry numbers are from somewhere around... 2012?

On another note, very Pivot looking lower link, including the protection flap over it.
