So this year it's almost a direct straight line with a minor kink into a new finish line jump just before the arch. Deathgrip may result in knocking your head on the timing board. <br />
Sometimes the rocks are safety orange, other times it's hi-viz green. For Leogang it's pink, lots to process each weekend if you a rider. -Sven Martin
Greg Williamson and Eliott Heap talk about the possible consequences of death gripping the final straight. -Sven Martin
See that little bit of loam at the base of the tree. Well that all disappears when you cut of the trees out! Just for the sake of a slightly better live feed angle. Don't know how I feel about that. Actually I do. -Sven Martin
It's not like there isn't great potential for a sweet track just on the other side of the tape.
Sadly this is inside the tape. -Sven Martin
Yep, this is on track. -Sven Martin

Description

Nature throws the World Cup a curve ball as the circus departs from sunny, blue Fort William, Scotland, only to land in muddy, wet Leogang, Austria, for the 4th round of DH competition. There's some debate about the state of the track and recent clear-cutting and a little drama about an extremely short 2017 DH calendar, so that makes for a nice, little mid-summer track walk slideshow from Austria. YEW!
