Inside the Troy Lee Designs Race Rig

Tree Lee Designs went big at Interbike this year. Really big.
Meet the ol' girl, home of the Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda motocross team. She's a Kenworth.
Corey Martin has been behind the steering wheel for a few years, and he takes a lot of pride in the rig.
We're glad they brought it along...
Outside, scores of dialed 2013 D3 helmets lined the tables.
Semenuk was hanging out.
From supermoto to supercross, Troy Lee Designs has a long and successful history in motorsports. In 2012, the team started the season with Christian Craig, Travis Baker, Cole Seely, and Tarah Gieger twisting throttle.
On race days, this is where time is found. Just like in MTB, every second counts.
It's a team affair, and the help from the support staff has a big influence on how the guys perform. Their trackside bags were still packed and ready to roll.
She's a double decker. Careful not to fall through the hole.
The upper level is one of the few places racers can find solitude at the packed venues. Each guy has his own cubby. Behind the doors at the back is a large storage area that holds the tent canopy, a Honda MUV and other supplies.
Back on the main floor, dozens of cabinets and drawers are packed with parts.
What spare parts are onboard?
Mechanics are prepared to replace anything and everything at a moment's notice. A spare fork and shock await their turn.
There's even an exhaust cabinet. Imagine having spare everything at a race... It's a necessary luxury at this level.
It's not always moto, moto, moto for the team. They all spend a fair amount of time on their Specialized bikes.
If they're ever feeling the DH thing, they'll likely be aboard one of the limited edition Specialized/TLD Demos (nudge, nudge).
Moto superfan and World Cup downhill ripper Troy Brosnan looks inside. One day, buddy, one day!
After over 50,000 miles plus a trip to Interbike and back, Corey and his baby finally got a little time off. Thanks for the tour!
Thumbs up, Troy. Good call on bringing the rig! To check out the 2013 MTB lineup that was housed under the tent, braaap your way over to www.troyleedesigns.com.

Description
Ever wondered what's inside the big rigs at motocross and supercross races? We've always been curious, and Troy Lee Designs just happened to pull their semi into Interbike this year and fill the pits with 2013 MTB gear. Naturally, we asked to check it out and thought we'd share it with you. Maybe a few years down the road we'll see factory teams with rigs like this at MTB races. We can dream, right?
