7mesh is a company you probably haven't heard much of yet. They have only been around for 2 years but all of these guys have a past in technical apparel. Looking at that was available for cyclists, they weren't impressed and decided to start making apparel that would meet their standards. Starting their own company also shortened the commute for these Squamish BC residents. With their history they had a bit of a leg up and with that, they weren't afraid to take on a challenge. Focused on quality design and fabric technology, the first project they took on was in fact their women's Revelation jacket. This flagship product was also the first Gortex jacket in MTB.

Fast forward to now and they have a pretty decent little collection of products for women and all with some very thoughtful details. For instance, there are darts on the backs of some of their jerseys to pre-shape for a better fit while you are in riding position. Most other jerseys rely on lycra in their fabric blends to stretch to accommodate for this. 7mesh however avoids the use of too much lycra because it is a fiber that holds water.

One of my favorites at 7mesh's was the Desperado Merino Henley top. This soft, 3/4 sleeve jersey looks versatile and comfortable. This is shown on the mannequin with the women’s Glidepath short.

7mesh’s chamois short is different from any we’ve seen yet. This short is constructed with a wide yoga-style waistband, seams are moved away from any chafing areas, and has a floating chamois pad. The pad is attached to a second layer of fabric separate from the main short so that it can shift and move as needed separate from the short.
