Reminiscent to the Iron Horse Sunday, the Pivot Phoenix DH is the current DW-Link suspended downhill chassis being put to the test by the Vital MTB test squad over the next few months. Complete with Fox suspension, a brand new 2013 Shimano Saint M820 group, DT Swiss EX500 wheels and Gravity Light components, here’s a quick overview of our Pivot Phoenix DH.

Fast facts:
• 8.15” (207mm) of travel.
• Adjustable head angle with 0, and +/- ½, 1, or 1.375 degree settings via the Cane Creek Angleset.
• Shock and main linkage are mounted as low as possible in the frame, giving the Phoenix DH excellent cornering and handling characteristics and access to all damping adjustments on the Fox RC4 Kashima shock.
• Standard 83mm threaded bb shell with ISCG mounts.
