First Look: Redesigned 2016 Devinci Troy

View as: Slideshow | One Page
Inspired by the looks and feel of the Spartan, Devinci redesigned the Troy for 2016.
The bike already impressed many, but a few details needed work for aggressive riders. A 20mm longer front end leads the charge.
Next up were some suspension improvements, including a more progressive leverage curve to add bottom out support.
A flip-flop pivot mechanism allows you to change the bike’s geometry to a high or low setting, changing the head angle from 67.4 to 67-degrees, and BB height from 343 to 338mm.
Devinci moved the Troy to the new Boost 148 rear axle standard, dropping a few millimeters of chainstay length in the process.
Mud clearance is still quite good, even with the short 424mm chainstays and a 2.35-inch Schwalbe Hans Dampf tire.
Carbon models will be 1X specific, cleaning things up even further. Note that the carbon model still uses aluminum an seat stay.
Several build kit updates fall right in line with the goal of being more capable, including burlier tires, wheels, and suspension.
Will we see Stevie Smith race the Troy to another win in this year's Crankworx Air DH? It's more ready for it than ever.
Coming this November. Visit www.devinci.com for more details.
