Intro Text

Guess who's back? Back again. MSA's back. Tell a friend. Believe it or not, that's not the only Eminem reference in today's Mont-Sainte-Anne trackwalk slideshow. The legendary venue sees yet another round of the UCI World Cup and the riders are amped. The speeds will be up, the wheels will be smashed and the rains are a comin'.

First time this year that Syndicate rides with the yellow plates. It's amazingly Greg's 20th year racing here. His first race here was in 1998. Crazy. Nine podiums and one win here for Minnaar. -Sven Martin
THIS is downhill riding. Laurie Greenland in audio. -Dan Hearn
That is not the road to the track. That IS the track, a couple meters after the Start. @maddogboris
And straight after jumping from the balcony of the restaurant, the riders end up in this brand new, hand-made rock garden. Yeow? @maddogboris
The most tanned Scot you'll see for a long time - Greg Williamson is the UK National Champion for the second year running. -Dan Hearn
It seems when a rider finds a loose rock in a new section, they nudge it a bit to make the problem obvious. I doubt this will be here tomorrow, probably removed after this was taken by the next rider. -Sven Martin
The awkward tree on the entry to the rock garden has been removed, opening up all sorts of possibilities and speed. It's a shame then that they have taped it narrow and one-lined when previously it offered multiple options. Perhaps easier for it to be filmed now for the TV guy on a static platform? -Sven Martin
Luca and Greg survey the kingdom of MSA. Luca has only one podium and it's from here in Mt Ste Anne. -Sven Martin
Team Trek Factory Racing with some shirt modifications for the hot course walk today. -Sven Martin
Boris gets his annual North American package from the hat pusher, Evan Warner. -Sven Martin
Guess the mystery rider in the photo above in the comments. -Sven Martin
Karting is a tradition on Tuesday nights in MSA. 34 cars deep. XC and DH Pros trying to not get taken out by the media squids on a rampage. Boris burns some rubber cutting inside. Mono Bartlett had the slowest time as usual. -Sven Martin
Squids on tour: camera bags and beer. Photo:@squidsontour
Martin Maes fresh off an Aspen podium flew all the way here just to take some DH'rs scalps on the karting track. He took the win. -Sven Martin
Please allow 10-30 minutes for your video to be processed. You will receive an email when your video is finished processing.
Sven's-eye view of the karting sesh.
Remember that pit bits caption? @maddogboris
Trek Factory Racing's Robbie Mead is just as handy on a skateboard as he is with a Steadycam. Kick flip front board in the pits. -Sven Martin
Rupert Chapman is the titanic and Bernard Kerr talks about his injury. -Sven Martin
Loic and Jack discuss the exit of the rock garden where the tracks opens up a little, again offering more lines. -Sven Martin
Forever remembered here. #longlivechainsaw -Sven Martin
Losing bets and getting tattoos seems to be a thing around the World Cups these days (ask Boris). Dean Lucas is the latest loser. -Sven Martin
Aaron Gwin fresh off a win. National Champs sleeve and stars and stripes for another year. -Sven Martin
The World Cup in Mont-Sainte-Anne is always well-organized and a bit more special than others. Gestev takes things to the next Level with their press conferences and pre-race events. @maddogboris
The rock garden is taped super narrow and there is no inside line between the trees anymore. It's still tricky and scary! @maddogboris

Tracksidechat with Brook, Sambo, Brendog and Blenki! @maddogboris
That mountain in the background will be beating fools up shortly. Get prepped. @maddogboris
Bottle flip madness. @maddogboris
Unfortunately Connor Fearon will not be able to race in Mont Sainte Anne due to a broken finger. Get well soon Bru! @maddogboris
Danny getting in the zone at a place he can take a win. @maddogboris
The wheel whisperer. Canyon gets ready for the destruction. @maddogboris
Myriam Nicole stoked for the weekend and stoked to hear World Champs are here in 2019. @maddogboris
Trackwalk Shadow Games! @maddogboris
After they took care of all the big course changes, they are still working on the track to make sure it's in perfect conditions for training, quali and finals! @maddogboris
Team YT Mob making sure not to miss anything on the track. Neko Mulally will unfortunately join Connor Fearon in the damaged hand club. @maddogboris
The last few meters of trackwalk. As I type this, it's 1.10am and it's raining outside, so don't let the sunny, dry conditions here fool you. @maddogboris
The Fox Factory Suspension just got used to their new, sick race support truck in Europe and now they have to work in the back of Sprinter in MSA. @maddogboris
More lost bets this year! Jackson Frew, aka the Eminem of World Cup racing. #momsspaghetti @maddogboris
Charlie Hatton is having a storming season. A crash in his Lenzerheide race run put him back to 21st in the overall, but still a fantastic place to be for the young Brit. 2nd place at National Champs 2 weeks ago too. -Dan Hearn
Good to see Miranda Miller track walking without a knee brace and stoked to be racing on Canadian soil (or rock!). -Dan Hearn
Some gnarly embedded rocks are hiding in the woods - highlighted in this case to avoid plowing into the tree straight after. -Dan Hearn
Tahnee Seagrave and Joe Smith trading tactics on Canadian bedrock. -Dan Hearn
The Steve Smith drop had people around all day for obvious reasons, not to mention it's a gnarly section to negotiate! -Dan Hearn
How many Germans does it take to shave a Silverback? -Dan Hearn
You will be able to tell it's Matt Walker's first time in MSA when he scrubs the wrong way off this kicker! -Dan Hearn
Vaea Verbeeck is one stoked Canadian to be racing on Canadian turf! -Dan Hearn
As a newbie to MSA, I can confirm the track looks absolutely balls-to-the-wall, flat-out and wild! -Dan Hearn
Storms around Montreal are causing serious problems for some traveling to MSA. At the time of writing this caption, Phil Atwill is stuck in Toronto airport and hoping to arrive at some point tomorrow. -Dan Hearn
Last sunny beer at the media condo before the rains came down. It's going to be a wet one on and off all weekend by the looks of things. Stay tuned for the action and/or carnage! -Sven Martin
