A Day with ONE Industries - 2013 Gear Launch

On a casual Tuesday morning in Laguna Beach, California, we met up with Greg Lenac for a ride in some of the 2013 ONE Industries line of apparel.
It's been a long time coming, and they're pumped to officially launch the 2013 ONE Bike line.
Greg blasts with almost as much style as the Athertons, who they've been working with all year.
Dave Langran from RacerX knows a thing or two about ONE's moto heritage. He joined us for the ride as well. Pinner!
Swoopy turns, great views, and trains with the bros. These are the days we live for.
Building on ONE's rich history in the MX scene, they’ve set out to make a mark on the gravity MTB world.
Greg used to live near Laguna, and bombing this chute was a daily routine. ONE's line fits this type of riding perfectly.
Now for the details... The Sector Short is a super light trail short. Moisture wicking fabrics, mesh panels, a media port, and small but usable pockets highlight the build.
There's also an optic wipe and a removable chamois included with the Sector Short. This bright green color is called chartreuse, and black is also available. MSRP is $120.
Todd Toth takes a break from the camera and charges ahead in the Alliance Jersey. It has a 1/4 zip collar, rear pocket, and media port.
The Alliance Jersey (right) comes in black/gray for $60.
Tech meets casual in the Interval Jersey. As Greg mentions, this one's about comfort and style, but still gets the job done well. An antimicrobial treatment prevents the funk for post-ride activities. Colors include gray, white, black, and chartreuse for $45.
ONE knows what's up. Tall black socks FTW.
Blasting in the Intel Shorts. They've got hidden zipper vents, large pockets, and include a removable chamois for days when you'd like a thicker short on trail rides or enduro races. The black, white, and orange options go for $150.
The Vapor Jersey is an ultra-light piece with mesh panelling, cuffless sleeves, and good looks. Black/orange and black/blue options go well with the Intel Shorts or Vapor Pants. MSRP is $60.
ONE's years of experience with MX gloves are apparent when looking at their MTB line.
Dropping in! The Vapor Gloves are incredibly lightweight. They're perfect for trail rides. Reasonably priced at $33.
The Zero Gloves are what we see as the "go-to" glove for just about everyone. They look durable, have a nice thin Clarino palm, and slip on. $30 will get you pair.
Protection wise, the $75 Conflict Knee Pads are pretty burly. They're flexible enough for trail rides, but look best suited to full on DH use.
Who can we look forward to seeing in ONE gear in 2013? We'll have to wait and see...
Drop over to oneindustries.com/bike to check out the full lineup. We're impressed by how complete the range is.

2012 was big for ONE Industries, and 2013 looks even better.

Description
You've seen ONE gear on the World Cup DH circuit, at the big enduro events, and at the tradeshows. After a full year of testing, tweaking, and perfecting by some of the World's best, it's now ready to roll for you and me. With a solid base in motocross, ONE is here to improve and progress MTB apparel and protection from a fresh angle, and we think they're off to a very solid start. - Photos by Todd Toth and Brandon Turman
