CRANKWORX MTB FESTIVAL LANDS IN EUROPE IN JULY 2012
The French resort Les 2 Alpes will host the inaugural European edition of the Crankworx Freeride Mountain Bike Festival.
As a long standing partner of the world famous Crankworx mountain bike festival held every year in Whistler, Canada, SRAM has stepped in to support Crankworx Europe right from its conception. Les 2 Alpes in July is a key location for thousands of action sports fan who travel to the French alps every summer for mountain biking and skiing on the glacier.
Crankworx Europe will include numerous events such as a pro downhill race, pro slopestyle and the mass-start Mountain of Hell, in addition to new and unique events like “Dual Style” and an uphill challenge.
David Zimberoff, Global Marketing Director of SRAM: “Being a long time supporter of Crankworx in Whistler makes it a natural fit to support the European expansion. We are excited to grow the event alongside the promoters and attendees.”
