Highland Mountain Bike Park Announces Dates for 2011 Claymore Challenge 1

(Northfield, NH) – Highland Mountain Bike Park will host the 4th Annual Claymore Challenge on June 22nd-25th, 2011.  In true Highland fashion the 2011 Claymore Challenge will be bigger and better then ever with a bigger pro prize purse, new features, new events and more.

The Highland crew is in the midst of expansion of the Claymore to include a gravity-racing element to the overall event making it a true mountain bike festival. “Highland is best known for our killer slopestyle and dirt jump events, now we’re going to show the world what we’ve got in racing,” explains pro rider and Highland operations manager Dave Smutok.

The Claymore Challenge Slopestyle will continue to be a Gold Level ranked event in the FMBA world tour. Expect the top professional freeriders to once again battle it out for the title of King of the Claymore and make the dive into the infamous Beaver Pond.
