The bike events at the Winter Teva Mountain Games wrapped up on the snow and under the lights with a one-of-a-kind big air contest in Vail, Colorado. The Teva Best Trick featured 10 of the world’s best riders hitting a 55-foot snow jump, throwing flips and tricks for a massive crowd. Chad Kagy, a BMX superstar who has been on a mountain bike for just a handful of days, threw a huge flip whip off the jump to claim the win and a $5,000 first place prize. Mike Montgomery front flipped into second, Sam Pilgrim threw a flip table to one-foot x-up combo for third, Cam Zink landed in fourth with a flip nac nac, and Kurt Sorge wound up in fifth after a big flip tuck no-hander.

In the Teva Snow Slalom, tall-guy Kyle Ebbett beat Aaron Chase for the win. Colorado local Petr Hanak and Chris VanDine duked it out for third and fourth. Moab's Wendy Palmer took it home in the women's race.
