Richie Rude and Tracy Moseley Win EWS Ainsa

Following his outrageous domination of day 1 where he took 4 stage wins out of 4, Richie Rude stayed on pace and held it together all the way to the finish line and a well-deserved victory after 2 days of intense racing in Ainsa, Spain. That also makes it 3 EWS wins on the trot for the Yeti pinner!

If the weather provided a little extra day 1 spice, it came back with a vengeance for day 2 and turned stage 8 into a flooded river, leading the organizer to call it a day after stage 7. Yoann Barelli stayed close, and Martin Maes had a great day 2 to take his first ever EWS podium. In the women's, Tracy Moseley held her advantage over Cecile Ravanel, while Isabeau Courdurier scored her second EWS podium with a great ride for third.

Marco Osborne took this shot on day 1 (he was the only one to actually leave the tent!) Day 2 had more of the same, and then some...

In the overall standings, both Richie and Tracy hold solid leads going into the last round, and will most likely be looking for safe finishes in Finale next weekend (a top-20 will be enough for either to secure the series win). Although, they would both like nothing else than to go out with a bang too...stay tuned as another exciting season of world class enduro racing wraps up!
