RESULTS: Timed Training from the Lenzerheide World Cup DH 1

Lots of turns and plenty of action from Lenzerheide, Switzerland, today as UCI World Cup Downhill training got underway. Racers had their first rides on the current Lenzerheide DH course which only had minor changes compared to last year's event. Aaron Gwin, Tracey Hannah and Sylvain Cougoureux went fastest in their classes. Gwin ran a 3:08 today compared to the winning race time in 2015 which was 3-minutes flat, posted up by Greg Minnaar, who was 2nd in timed training this afternoon.

Timed training results do not impact World Cup overall standings or race qualification status and riders are not obligated to take a timed training run. The results are the first indications of what race day times may be.

Qualifying for the Lenzerheide World Cup DH takes place on Friday and the race runs on Saturday. You can watch the race live on Red Bull TV.
