RESULTS: Maes and Courdurier Lead Madeira EWS After Day 1 1

3 stages done but times are tight and everything is still to race for tomorrow.

Good weather and dusty trails for day 1 of racing in the island paradise of Madeira, Portugal as the third round of the 2019 EWS series got underway today. Martin Maes and Isabeau Courdurier are showing no signs of wanting to let anybody else get any closer to them, carrying on in the same way that has already seen them win the first two rounds this year. Times are tight however, and as we know, anything can still happen - especially since there are 5 more stages to race tomorrow including the Queen Stage where extra bonus points are up for grabs. Stay tuned as the drama unfolds right here on your favorite website!
