RESULTS - Adrien Dailly and Isabeau Courdurier Lead EWS Les Orres After Day 1 3

The French are on top on home soil after day 1, but times are incredibly tight heading into day 2.

Welcome to day one of EWS racing in Les Orres, where after four long and grueling stages, only three seconds separate the top three men! Adrien Dailly, Ed Masters, and Richie Rude are all locked in a titanic battle that has already seen the race lead swap several times, while Sam Hill suffered a puncture and a time penalty for arriving late to the next stage start which has seen him slip down the rankings to finish the day in 13th overall. In the women's, Isabeau has a 20 second lead over Raphaela Richter, while a further three riders separated by only six seconds are fighting for the third podium spot. Stay tuned tomorrow to find out who will come away with top honors.
