The first leg of the RockShox Enduro Challenge Powered by SRAM took place on February 1, 2015 at Mt. Buller, Australia. The race attracted a number of international stars both from the enduro and DH disciplines, as well as a smattering of local talent. With 6 special stages (+ one prologue to determine the starting order) to deal with over just one day of racing the competitors were no doubt pleased to find the chairlift in use for some of the liaisons.

When the dust settled, Jared Graves came out victorious ahead of Troy Brosnan. Sam Hill pulled off a remarkable 5th place on quite a pedally course, pointing to good fitness which should strike fear into the hearts of his fellow World Cup DH racers for the upcoming season. Not less remarkable, he was dressed head-to-toe in Mavic gear and was running Mavic wheels on his Nukeproof as well. We don't know much more about what that means at this point...

Jerome Clementz is currently in the southern hemisphere too, and he took the opportunity to get a little race action under his belt. He was reportedly happy with how he rode, acknowledging that he is not at race speed at this point in the season (he finished 9th).
