FINAL RESULTS - NW Cup / Pro GRT Tamarack 2

A solid turnout with tight racing in Idaho as the 2019 Pro GRT wraps up.

Sun-filled skies and dry, dusty conditions were on tap for race day at round four of the 2019 NW Cup which was also the fourth and final race of the 2019 USA Cycling Pro GRT. Downhill competitors from across the country pushed their limits on the fun and challenging course in Tamarack, Idaho. Impressive attendance numbers, especially in the young rider categories indicate an upward trajectory for #USDH. When the racing was complete, Neko Mulally backed up his 1st place seeding time with a winning time of 2:50, three seconds ahead of Bruce Klein in 2nd and Nik Nestoroff in 3rd. World Cup legend, Chris Kovarik placed 9th aboard his M29 with a 2:58 which ended up being 14 seconds faster than his seeding run on the 2003 Intense M1.

Claire Buchar earned the Pro Women's victory, edging out 2nd-place Camila Nogueira, who was fastest in seeding on Saturday. Current U.S. National Champ, Samantha Soriano, placed 3rd. There were 16 Pro Women competing in Idaho.

The Junior Men were as close on race day as they were during seeding. Tyler Ervin posted a 3:04.30 and turned it up just enough to take the victory over Daniel McMaster by a margin of just .68 seconds. Spencer Ervin hopped into 3rd with a 3:08, consistent with his 3:08 in seeding and 4th through 11th were only separated by 2.5 seconds.

Ella Erickson took a convincing Junior Women's victory by over 10 seconds while Taylor Ostgaard (2nd) and Sydney Haberman (3rd) had a good battle with not quite three seconds separating the young pinners.
