A silly crash on a blue trail takes down one of the fastest EWS racers.

Damien Oton injuries his scaphoid while riding a blue trail at the Skyline MTB Park in Queenstown, New Zealand. After 5 months of strong off-season training, the "silly" crash takes out the 2nd place overall 2018 Enduro World Series racer just before the first 2019 round begins during Crankworx Rotorua. Oton, of Devinci / Unior Tools will miss round two in Tasmania and possibly more races depending on the injury.
