I have a RockShox Tora SL Solo Air and i was wondering how i should store it this winter. I have it stored in my garage and i was wondering if i should do anything to ensure it is safe to ride this spring.

Make sure it's clean. That's it!

If you are super paranoid, the only other thing that I can think of is keeping the seals moist with oil to keep them from drying out and cracking. Try an oil soaked piece of rag tied around each seal. Or just clean it and forget it.

Also i have noticed the it is alot softer when i ride around the block. Has it lost air pressure? Is that normal during winter?

Yes, air shocks will typically lose some pressure over extended periods of time.
