Besides Cesar Rojo putting down some serious hurt and Tomas Misser crushing, how about the fact there were 4 competitors in the 60+ category on the super steep Andorra track!

I once camped out in the parking lot at the Park City National next to an old geezer who made a lasting impression. I knew him only as Frenchy, as he was French, and he was a cook in the casino dungeons of Las Vegas. He showed up at the race with one bike, a hardtail Klein I think, and the intension to race every category he could. So he did... Hill climb, downhill, slalom, cross country... I don't think they had pump track or slopestyle back then, but he would have done it. Do they have age categories for King of Crankworks? More importantly, he taught me a recipe right there in that parking lot for whole trout that I use to this day. Simply stuff them with garlic and parsley, dredge them in flour and fry them in butter. So good. I've added minced apple to the mix over the years, and even did a whole salmon with a row of raspberries down the spine. But I digress... Old guys rock... Here I come...

What a surprise, Cesar destroys the field on the wonder bike!

So, what about Rob Warner? Didn't find him on the list. Thought he was training for this race?

Yes those are Loic and Loris's dads: Jean Pierre Bruni and Claude Vergier. Bruni Sr got gold already in 2013 and silver in 2014. All of them ride Lapierres, I guess it is like the Atherton package Tongue

Shout out to Collin Yarrow who I met in Hafjell for Masters last year. Good on ya for making the trip to Andorra, representing Canadian geezers, and pulling down 9th place!
