I need to get a new bike. I have a really crappy bike. I want to get a mountain bike that is name brand and is good. I don't want to pay more then $300 because I don't have a job. Could someone please help me out with this. Thanks

My advice to you is to keep saving. A decent used hardtail will run you ~$600+.

Like he said.. keep saving. Trails are rough on bikes period. It can be frustrating, but more than worth the wait. Trust me Im doing the same thing now. You can find something decent used between 800-1000 just keep your eye out! :-)
