Notice the wheel he's working on has a Minion DHF and not Butcher. Also, butchers that are pictured are the old design--while the new design has been available to consumer in trail models for 6+ months.

Who knows, That tire could be a new 29er DH tire that is a combination of the Hillbilly and the butcher.

I'd guess that he means Minar. But the post clearly states that He'll be back. Sounds like a simple crack. Quick fix. Shake it off.

Then I listened to the Inside Line Podcast with Martin Whitely.

Greg Minaar has a new V10 and it is longer than the previous v10 in XXL with a 475mm reach. Are you really surprised? What surprises me is how long he has been riding on bikes that are way too small for him! The guy is a factory sponsored pro and only now is finally figuring out the a bike with over 500mm reach (speculation on my part) is what he needed all along! How tall is he? 190cm?

Martin Whitely is Martin Whitely, but for the past five years or so the rumor has been that next year is minngnarr's last. The dude is at the top of his game and with Gwin chasing the GOAT title I'd reckon Greg wants to bag as many wins as possible before retirement. Maybe he won't pull a Peaty and fall to mid-pack before finally stopping, but it seems from his results and R&D work that retirement would be later rather than sooner.
