From here it looks like the downtube is hollw down below to accomodate the shock as the latter sits very low. I love the current aurum but this one is growing on me. Only thing I don't like is the shape of the gap between the top ube and the downtube.
Give they are not really hiding it, will it be presented some time soon?
The canyon is going to be presented to the public in 2 weeks, per Seagraves'IG. I wonder if Mondraker wilk release theirs soon too.

It will have the option to run both 29 and 27.5 at the back, theres 2 shock positions for that.
Only going to release the top end model at 5799 eur.
Other cheaper models have no release date.

Interesting choice of words, 'striving' for excellence. Is there any chance this will have some similar suspension-changing mechanism like the Strive? I don't know what it would be besides a bar-mounted lockout as I don't think anyone wants to steepen angles mid-run.

No ones going to discuss the fact that the bike he posted is Fox and not RS? Is he off the team or did he just post a stock bike?

And the Shimano. I say stock bike like all specialized athletes posted the same turbo levo sl picture before the release. I think this is a contractually obligated post.

Has that Intense enduro bike popped back up since the trophy of nation's last year or is all quiet on that western front still?

Phroduction ready? Nice paint job but raw frames are the best.

Intense are busy making prototype bikes for a market that is dead rather than a market that is thriving. Intense are dying, I predict 12 months until they need another cash injection.

Honestly, it makes more sense to make prototypes for DH than for enduro. For enduro make something good and put it up for sale. For DH, with the sales numbers, each could almost be tailor made. Might even make more financial sense as you can charge more that way...

But yeah, looking at their products... To me it looks like they are stuck... 5 years in the past? Very conservative geometries.

The tracer and carbine are 4-5 years old.

Also, from a few posts I've seen I'd say there's about to be some longer travel high pivot witchcraft.....

The only thing keeping Intense alive right now is the Tazer I bet. They are coming out with a version with a triple clamp fork that is going to be sold at Moto dealers. Actually that is a smart play and Intense does have that So Cal Moto cred going for it.

Beyond that I don't see much innovation at all. As others have also wondered, I too wonder about the prototype Isabeau rode at des Nations last year. If I was intense I'd putting a lot more cycles towards that than DH. Way more of a market.

that prototype Isabeau was riding looks like it uses the same front triangle and similar layout as Gwin's DH prototype. Wonder, if they used hers as a mule to develop the one Gwin is riding? Also probably wouldn't take too much to adapt that into an enduro rig seeing as it started that way?

The original mules for the m29s also looked similar, Jeff probably buys the tubes in bulk and then makes everything out of them. Even though the bikes might look similar the linkages is what really sets them apart from one another. Just like all the Santa Cruz bikes look similar but they’re very different! And the meme that “looks like a session” has become. The looks don’t usually tell the real story.

I was riding in Pila today and there was a guy ( 50to1 clothing) testing a prototype cannondale with a dual crown. It looked like the habit proto with a boxxer. Looks really really good in person.

Not really tech related, but do you guy think that the exposure Matthes (PulpMx) is giving Intense will get them to sell more to the moto community?

Current Intense has effectively jumped the shark. The bikes are pretty dated other than the m29 which has gotten a lot of hype and none of the results. They need something to change.
