Let’s bring up the ole Cannondale rumors... I snapped these pics back in November at MCBP’s closing weekend. Looks to be a new long travel 29er...

Saw one of these in the wild last week. Older woman was riding it and was not happy that I recognized the bike from vital 😂

I chatted with someone there about it and they seemed to be being nice about the fact I saw it on here but you could tell there was a bit of tension

Here's a fun screencap I took from Neko's latest video. He and Isak Leivsson lined up their bikes, pretty rad to see the overlap.

Ideally you'd take pictures of the two from the same spot from the same length and overlap those. The front bike will be longer even if you compare two bikes of the same model and size in this manner due to the distance from the camera.

Possible new full-face from Smith? The Rocky Mountain Enduro guys were using Troy Lee stuff last year, but this is something new and doesn't look like any existing brands. Looks sick too!

Anyway, that'll certainly be new colors for 2021 and that's it...

EDIT : my bad, it has changes : https://www.commencal-store.com/PBCPPlayer.asp?ID=2144489
According to the website it has.......
"Direction angle more lying down"
Which I think we can all agree is a good thing.
So,64.5 HA on the trail bike (because 140/160 is a trail bike now).......how slack is the AM going to be!!!
34.9mm seat post as well.

Looks really nice, but there is a serious price creep going on, most of the models don't really count as "good value" due to some cheapish components. I guess they have to pay for those weekly sick videos and the massive DH team somehow!

Here’s the date for the Meta AM. It’s under the 2021 enduro category if you want to see for yourself.

Did the 29ers come with a top mounted rear caliper as well or was it mounted between the seat and chainstay like on the V4 and V4.2 27,5" bikes?

Also, oh god, the 52T is incoming... I'm seriously thinking about going Shimano after being a diehard Sram fan for the last... well over 10 years.

When it is a link driven single pivot, the brake needs to go on the chainstay.

Why are people so upset over 52T? If you get it, cool, if not, who cares? I am still on 11 speed, and will stay that way until I can afford AXS.

Why not just be open minded about it and at least try it to see if you like it or not? My XO/GX Eagle drivetrain is so much quieter and shifts are crisper than my buddies Shimano xt 12sp. I just don’t see why everyone is sh$&ing on SRAM. I can’t speak for NX or SX but GX has been great

@Jon_Angieri please check my bike check on my profile. I'm running X01 Eagle. I upgraded my 2015 Reign 1 from X1 to GX Eagle. I'm loving it.

I'm hating the 10-52 cassette because it's lipstick on a pig kinda deal, a quick fix to literally one-up Shimano, so they can say 'ours is 1 better than yours'. If they changed the stack lower down to make smoother steps, I'm all for it. The way they did it is just stupid. I instantly see the Megadrive cassette when I see the 52T Eagle cassette. And that's a shopping mall bike cassette.

As for the brake and the chainstay, no shit, I know it has to be mounted to the chainstay (in general, to the link the rear axle is mounted to, unless you have a floating brake link). I'm aiming at the mounting above the seatstay (like it's usually done) as opposed to in between the seatstay and the chainstay. Please look at the older Metas to see what I'm talking about.

EDIT: just to show what I'm talking about regarding jumps: https://i.imgur.com/yGJDdUn.png
