AT texted the dimensions of the jumps in his contest, so it should be a good starting point for ya.
- big ramps - 8ft tall with 14ft radius
- smaller ramp (last jump) - 6ft tall with 10ft radius

depends if you want height or distance.. i usually cut all mine at around 12" 6inch radius @ 6ft .. my gap is usually around 12ft lip to landing..
a 10ft Radius is going to pop you nice.. however.. you won't be able to do quite as much at higher speeds...i guess it depends on your riding style and what you're doing.

Thanks for the numbers and pictures, super helpful... I ended up going with a 10' radius and kept it small, around 4'6" tall. The landing is mulch, piled up behind a rock wall (don't come up short!!!). It's also a little bit of a step-up so the landing is very forgiving. This thing is perfect for me for now, I see larger ones in the future....

Good to know.
We will be replacing a couple dirt jumps with larger wood kickers this summer.
Anyone have the numbers of the Post Canyon Booters?

Tarka, what did the radius of the jump you built end up as? I like the framing design.

FMX left side jumps in PC have a 10-14 foot radius, I believe.

14' seems like a good test case. We will be constructing soon, dirt is almost soft enough to manage again.
The take-off in my avatar is going to be the first one replaced with a larger wood version. Thanks for the info everyone.
