I don't really know why anyone would want an Epic with a canon mount... if you've got the money for an Epic, I'd think you also have access to nice cinema specific PL mount lenses?
Whatever, when you mount a telescope on the front like Laforet does in this, it ends up making more sense to me.

I guess maybe those who are completely minted enough for a full RED kit can just be just as pro with their Canon lenses now!
Phliip Bloom is pretty excited about it so I guess it must be pretty useful! haha.
