Cannondale Claymore OR Specialized SX Trail? I need some advice please

So I have been drooling over the Cannondale claymore for the last few months. I have been searching for the perfect "do it all" bike that can be a good all mtn bike and then switch to more freeride/DH with the changing of a few parts. I originally thought that the claymore was my only option but I never considered a Specialized SX Trail with an air shock on it. They both seem like a really nice bike and could be good for some all around action. Which would you guys get and why? Some feedback would be much appreciated, thanks.
